Surrounded by more than 60 musicians, Alan Simon presents his original compositions of 23 songs in a folk/rock/symphonic style.

In the past, Alan Simon composed many songs for Midnight Oil, Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Billy Preston, Roger Hodgson (Supertramp), Alan Parsons, Les Holroyd (BJH), Fairport Convention and many more.

For his new show, Alan Simon went to the Drumcode Studio in Italy, in order to create a solid rock/folk foundation of 20 songs.

Marco Canepa, one of the greatest sound engineers, is supporting him again, just like in the rock opera “Tristan & Isolde”, “Anne de Betragne” or the past Excalibur trilogy. Canepa created the musical background from natural elements.

The goal is to give the audience some insight into the heart of nature whilst acting out the theatrical parts and performing the songs. The main cast consists of 10 musicians that can be seen as a true enrichment for the show.

Alan Simon and his team of knight-musicians are trying to surprise everyone that have been following his career by using a more contemporary sound, without compromising his musical roots.

Alan managed to create something new. His focus is to fill the last part of this saga with new ideas and over the last nine month of pre-production everybody worked hard to accomplish this goal.
